MAY 5-6, 2007: SPAA celebrates the 59th anniversary of PA at the 46th Street building. We are visited by former faculty Bel Kaufmann, Shirley Katz-Cohen, Murray Braunstein and Bill Britten.

JUNE 2006: Reunion 2006 brought much fun, great memories, and important changes to the direction of the School of Performing Arts Association. A new Board of Directors has been seated: look for exciting new inroads in fund-raising, publicity, class histories and archive development, and a celebration of PA's 59th Anniversary in 2007 which will go even further in spreading the word about who we are and what we do!

Of special interest are "local color" shots you may have: of the school, of 46th street, of Times Square; these are all areas that have changed drastically since our collective times there, even since the very last class graduated in '84, actually; and preserving our history and our presence there are of utmost importance-- before those photos crumble away (or we do!)

We also hope to have a complete YEARBOOK ARCHIVE available here. Your books will be scanned and converted into PDF format, easily viewable by all on the 'net. To get things started, the Classes of 1975 and 1964 have gracefully sent their yearbook in to the Project to get things started.

Continue to look for this site to reflect your interests and needs, to support the Board of Directors in its new path, and to ask YOU to do likewise: to support the Board, as its members reach out to you alumni to assist in the myriad of exciting projects awaiting us all in 2007 and beyond.
